December 2025

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Healthy and Happy New Year.

A special thanks to our Highway Department, who have had a trying year, starting with all the snow last winter, a wet spring, and all the rain in June. They were able to get all the road work we had planned just a little later than anticipated despite all the obstacles.

To our Town Clerk and her Deputy – Kelli and Daria – for their dedication to our residents.

And to all our town employees, elected and appointed, who work tirelessly toward keeping our town a great place to live. I do feel we have truly dedicated people serving our town.

It is my honor to serve the people in the Town of Fenner.

Sincerely,

Dave

March 2025 – Hopefully, Spring is on the way!?

Clean up is ongoing from the storms on February 16 and 17 and some of our Town roads have not fared well – due to the cold, snowy, and windy weather – 107 inches and counting!

We have to wait until the frost is gone before some of these roads can be repaired.

The Town has received text and phone calls on how much people appreciate the effort of our Highway Department this winter. Under such brutal conditions, sometimes working 20 hours straight, our Highway Department has kept the roads open and safe.

The Madison County Highway Department has told me that Fenner has the worst roads in the county to try and keep open because of the wind.

Here’s to hoping Spring is coming!

As always, if there are any questions or concerns about anything at all, please feel free to contact me at any time.
